Joan Estrader has taken his new theatrical project ‘Manojo de Ideas’ to the UAB Theatre. The play had to take place originally on March but it had to be postponed due to the situation of lockdown. The activity was proposed by the Theatre Classroom of the UAB. The spectacle took place on Thursday November 5 at 5 o’clock and people were able to visualize it in the UAB Campus Media website.

‘Manojo de Ideas’ is Estrader’s last spectacle and is a hilarious essay on creativity which offers an alternative vision of design. With humour as its main tool, Estrader explores the different uses of day-to-day objects and raises questions about original ways of dealing with the creative process.

This new project by Estrader is directed by Jesús Peñas and is produced by Marta Sinfín. ‘Manojo de Ideas’ is a constantly evolving work which changes every time its creators incorporate new ideas. The main objective is to enhance curiosity and creativity with very minimalistic resources: simple objects and a visual montage by Estrader himself.

The previous works of Catalan actor and comedian Joan Estrader have had a very good response of international media. In the United Kingdom he founded the ‘Really Really Company’ and with his plays has been part of important festivals like the International Clown Festival of New York or the International Theatre Festival of Shanghai.
